Almost 12 weeks ago we began a journey that would show us the intricacies of His Love. A love that has been absolutely present during the trials. A love that has caused us to look to Jesus in everything and through everything. It’s a love that is unique for both the Giver and receiver. We are THANKFUL that God has shown us the personal details of John 15:13

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

Throughout the journey of planting this church we have had many “What-If’s”. If your a part of our core team, you have probably sat there at night thinking, “What-If” the Lord does thus and so. “What-if” this person comes. “What-if” God really manifests the Vision of this church in real-time. We are THANKFUL for all twenty-something of you who have dreamt alongside side us, waking up to realize that God might make our dreams come true. This prophecy in Joel 2:28-32 was fulfilled at Pentecost which birthed the Church.

“And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.

Each one of us has a story, though it changes course at the point of salvation, it really begins to get flourish as it comes to life through Servant Leadership. I woke up Sunday morning, November 24 2013, wondering if any of you would show up. My wonder turned to Joy as I began seeing your calling come to life in your individual fields of ministry. Not only did you see things as practical, you saw and acted on making them better. You came early, you served well, and you never looked back. We are THANKFUL and are honored to serve with you at Vision LB.

“But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

I could go on and on of how proud I am to be a part of this  team of Servant Leaders. I could write a ton of stories of how the Lord brought us together in unity for the building of His Church. But I would be remiss if I left out the protagonist who has done exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think, and whom deserves all Glory, Honor, and Praise. This thanksgiving day, remember how we begin every service in light of Psalm 100:4. We are THANKFUL for you Lord!

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Hector
